Along with Dr. Tarabichi, he has published several international articles on Endoscopic Ear Surgery and Transtympanic Eustachian Tuboplasty.

Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia, after his specialization, in Otolaryngology, (in 1994, in Palermo, Italy), spent 9 years, in the Head and Neck department of the National Institute of Cancer, in Milan (Istituto Nazionale Tumori). 4 Years as a fellow and 5 years as a consultant. In this period, he performed hundreds of head and neck surgery.
